Do It Rocks

Do It rocks are not necessarily religious rocks but they embrace powerful religious sentiment for people that are themselves religious. The very potent declarative of the Jewish and Christian religions, the first and the greatest command of God is to "Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and soul and mind," and for the Christian religion the second command is added, "And to love your neighbor as yourself." Either or both of these commands are so monumentally important that to us they suggest a monument stone expressing the personal commitment.

Viewed in the much broader sense the sentiment "Do it!" is a potent thought for any of us at all.

One of Yogi Berra's more memorable quotes is, "When you come to a fork in the road, take it!" Often the problem with people is that they think about a thing, they may talk about a thing, but they often don't do what they think about or talk about. Do It as a paperweight desk reminder is a useful reminder, don't you think?

"Do It" rocks are reverse sand carved with background portion of the rock blasted away and only the letters not removed. The entire rock with the exception of the letters is clear coated with lacquer to give it a dark glow.
