Memory Boxes

We will be showing you many Memory Boxes and you may just scroll down to the thumbnail pictures and follow the prompts to examine them in detail.  The first ones that we will show you are Memory Boxes that are also urns for containing cremated ashes.

People are thinking urns when we say "memory box" and they are not necessarily thinking incorrectly.  This 7.5 x 4.5 x 5 inch box does serve as an urn to hold cremated remains of an animal ranging in weight from very small to about 100 pounds. But this Memory Box is far more than simply an urn.

As you can see the panels (they are of western red alder) of this box are excellent surfaces for containing engraved photographs.

Every dog was a puppy at one time, of course.  I vividly remember our family's day out grouse hunting when little Nick was such a small pup that he couldn't even jump over small logs in the woods.  This panel also reminds me of my son and how young and fun he was as he played with his little dog.
Of course Nick was bred to be a hunting dog and he was a fine one indeed.  Each time I see this picture I recall the many hunts I had with him.  Nick had one of the greatest noses I ever witnessed.  No duck or pheasant escaped his tracking and seldom did we lose any crippled birds.  The mallard in this picture attests to that.
But look how the top of this full sized urn capacity box lifts right off and provides a space memorabilia like photographs, dog tags, etc.
Nick was even a dad and the picture of his two pups and other photos are great keepsakes that fit right in the Memory Box.
